“Health Humanities” workshops

The Armonica Onlus "Health Humanities" workshops were created with the desire to improve the quality of life of young patients and those who care for them: the central objective of the project is, therefore, the humanization of the therapeutic path.

The state of "well-being" cannot ignore the dimension of the relationship with ourselves and with others and its achievement is deeply linked to an emotional and empathic dimension that balances the states of instability and uncertainty generated by the disease.

Constructive thinking, creativity and imagination are the forces that can lead to the achievement and maintenance of this state of consciousness.

The workshops in the three-year period 2021-2023 will be the focus of an important research project on the effects of music in rare diseases in collaboration with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital in Rome and the Nemo Clinical Center in Milan.

The project foresees an intense specialization activity for our collaborators, all coming from Higher Education Institutes (Conservatory), animated by great enthusiasm, generosity and with the same desire to improve their professional quality, opening new paths to the use of music .

Our partnership with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità, with the Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti Foundation and with the Dima Cultural Association, guarantees the success of the project which requires donations to finance scholarships for our children and for the achievement of the common associative goals.
