Friends of the Foundation

The friends of the Foundation can play a special role in the development and growth of the Foundation's projects in Italy and worldwide. With their help it will be possible to:

  1. Design and implement new host production workshops in different countries of the world with two main aims: to involve fragile people by giving them a new dignity through work and to witness a Eucharistic culture that knows how to spread to believers and non-believers the mystery of the presence of Christ in the Eucharist;
  2. Share and organize the trip of the Lampedusa Cross, built with the wood of sunken boats, in those countries where people run away from wars and hunger. With these trips we want to be witnesses of a suffering humanity on the run.
  3. Allow many children from all over the world in a social emergency to participate in the project of the Little Orchestra of Peoples by Vittorio Baldoni;

4. Participate in the various initiatives of the Foundation also in the proposal, planning and verification phase of the expected results.

Artist Friends

It is thanks to the support and contribution of many artist friends that we can continue to spread the spirit and mission of the Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti Foundation. These artists with their talent and their works contribute to the human and spiritual development of many people in state of difficulty. It is with them that we want to create a community of artists who pass the baton to many people in discomfort from all over the world and encourage them to express their inner world through the arts.

Thanks to: Mimmo Paladino for the Crucifix, to Pietro Coletta for the opera "Kairos" and to their diptych "Death and Resurrection of Man", to Jannis Kounellis for the violin with barbed wire strings and to Ennio Morricone for the composition "La Voce dei sommersi” inspired by the Lampedusa Cross.

Other signatures that have accompanied us in our daily commitment: Alda Merini, Getulio Alviani, Ermanno Olmi, Carla Accardi, Gianna Nannini, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Carlo Crivelli.
